Privacy Notice
How we use your information.
This notice explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. We collect very little, use it only to reply to you, and don’t sell or share it for marketing.
Who we are
This website is run by Darren Neill, trading as Relentless. Darren is the “controller” of your personal information, which means he decides how it’s used and is responsible for looking after it.
If you have any questions about this notice or your information, email darren@relentless.business.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form, we collect:
- your name
- your email address
- your business name and, if you give it, your website
- whatever you write about your business
The form asks you to leave out anything confidential about your staff or customers. If you include it anyway, we’ll treat it with care and only use it to understand your enquiry.
We don’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
How we use it
We use your information to read your enquiry, reply to you, and talk through whether an audit would help. If you go on to commission an audit, we’ll keep your details as part of our records of working together.
We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.
Our lawful basis
Data protection law requires a lawful reason for using personal information. Ours is legitimate interests: you’ve contacted us and asked us to get back to you, and replying is something you would reasonably expect. Where your enquiry leads to an audit, we also rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website. They handle your information only on our instructions:
- Netlify hosts the website and receives form submissions. Netlify is based in the United States.
- Our email provider stores the enquiry notification and our correspondence with you.
Where a provider stores information outside the UK, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US Data Bridge or approved standard contractual clauses.
We will only share your information with anyone else if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn’t lead to an audit, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact. If we work together, we keep records for as long as we need them for that work and for six years afterwards, to meet tax and legal obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- object to us using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it
To use any of these rights, email us at the address above. We’ll reply within one month. There’s no charge.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
